World Dance Academy er en forening og derfor betales der et årligt beløb til årskontingent af alle medlemmer. Du vil derfor blive opkrævet et beløb på 50 kr. når du tilmelder dig i efterårsperioden og 100 kr. hvis du tilmelder dig i forårsperioden. Årskontingent bliver fremover opkrævet d. 1. januar hvert år, indtil du er udmeldt. Hvis du har lyst til at støtte os som forening, er man meget velkommen til kun at betale årskontingent - skriv det i kommentaren ved tilmelding. ________________________________ World Dance Academy is an association and therefore an annual membership fee is paid by all members. You will therefore be charged an amount of 50DKK when you sign up in the fall period and 100DKK if you sign up in the spring period.  The annual fee will be charged on the 1st of January every year, until you are unsubscribed. If you want to support us as an association and our work, you are very welcome to only pay the annual fee - write it in the comment when you sign up.

This Afro Basic class is open to dancers of all levels, including beginners. We will focus on foundation, basics, and we will be jaming to Afrobeats music. No prior experience is necessary, and no choreography in this class; the emphasis is on having fun while picking up Afro basics moves across various music genres like Afrobeats, Amapiano, Ndombolo, Afrohouse, and more. Come as you are and join us in learning some Afro basics!

In this Afro Choreo class, we focus on routines and choreography based on Colosal Titan’s Afro Basic class. To join the Afro Choreo class, we recommend you to also take the Afro Basic class or have some experience with African dance or other dance styles. We will build on the foundational steps from the Afro Basic class to create routines and choreography. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop your freestyle or small combos. Each month features two new choreographies.

OBS: For this season this class ends the 28th of May. In Switch’s Afro Ghanian Style class, the focus is on Ghanaian steps, vibe, and groove. The Azonto dance, which originated from "Apaa"—meaning "to work”—was initially used to show the profession of an individual. Over time, Azonto has evolved to express more complex messages and is are very communicative dance. Join Switch every Wednesday to experience and learn the dynamic Ghanaian dance style in his Afro class.

Afro House, originating from Angola, is a dance and music genre known for its energetic movements, including Njinga, and fast footwork. This class welcomes all levels and focuses on foundational footwork and basic steps. Colosal will provide combos to help you develop your footwork and choreography, using music from Angola, Cape Verde, and Portugal. One new choreography is introduced each month.

His class consist of a warm-up, diagonal movement patterns across the floor and relaxation.  This class is open for all levels. If you choose to participate in this class, you must be signed up for this class before any other class! This is important since the class cost more with the drums and more time, it is therefore not possible to use the discount of your 2nd class on this class. Vi er glade for at kunne meddele at vi starter et nyt Female Dancehall hold op med Cece på Amager. Female Dancehall, Open Level er for dig der vil afslutte din weekend med en fest! Timerne med Cece vil Introducere dig til Female Dancehall fra Jamaica. Der vil blive arbejdet på det kvindelige bevægelsesmønster i Dancehall kaldet 'wining', forskellige booty teknikker og "steps" kreeret af jamaicanske kvinder i forskellige tidsperioder. På timerne vil det mest af alt handle om at give slip på hverdagen og have det sjovt i et trygt læringsmiljø, hvor du uden tvivl får sved på panden. Niveauet vil være begyndervenligt, men åbent for alle niveauer.
